PR in AZ!

Final time of 1:35:10 !!!!

It was an amazing weekend. While I knew I had gotten stronger I was not quite sure how fast I was. So race day was filled with a simple approach…give what I had and keep my heart rate steady. “Legs, legs, legs, right here, right here..relax (at this point I focused on keeping everything from my waist on up relaxed),” “keep it steady (heart rate)” I checked my watch three times and felt great. I continued to keep my pace to not compromise my efficiency.  The last couple of miles are always a fight but as I crossed the finish line I knew “mission accomplished”…Below are my final stats.
