ICYMI: Coping with Quarantine, Social Distancing, Uncertainty and Anxiety in a Time of COVID

Hi Everyone, This year I have the honor of being the chair of the Big Sky Conference Mental Health Subcommittee. We have an amazing team that is creating unique, thoughtful and relevant mental health programming for our student-athletes and athletics communities. Below you’ll find our mission statement, Mental Health Strategies/Tools, and the first recording of our virtual mental health panel series. I hope you are doing well and please reach out for support. You are not alone.

Mission Statement
“The Big Sky Mental Health Subcommittees seeks to promote the resources and best practices for outreach and communication to student-athletes, coaches, staff and teams regarding mental health and wellness, at all times and especially during periods of crisis, ongoing racial injustice, systematic oppression and prolonged uncertainty. The work of the subcommittee will focus on mental health promotion and programming to reduce stigmas and other barriers for student-athletes, coaches and staff to access mental health resources.”
