MUST HAVE BOOK: Mindful Running

Hey Athletes and Runners?!

  • Have a goal to improve some aspect of your run performance in 2018?
  • Want to enjoy and be present with your mind and body during runs?
  • Do you want to improve your performance while gaining skills that translate into mental toughness skills for race day and tough training runs?

If YES to all these questions then go get your copy of Mindful Running by Mackenzie L. Havey today! I have to admit I am bias for a few reasons:

Mackenzie is an amazing writer, author and researchers. She bring quality and authenticity to all her pieces and this book is hands down the best practical guide for incorporating mindfulness into your running practice.

I am also bias because mindfulness is a foundational mental skill that I firmly adhear to in my applied sport psychology practice. Every athlete that works with me WILL learn this skill as a basis for examining their sport performance as well as life factors contributing to sport performance. “As in sport so in life. As if life so in sport”

Lastly, I am bias because Mckenzie interviewed me along with many other amazing experts in the running and mindfulness world. I am truly honored and humbled to be apart of an amazing project/book, that is helping change the culture of how we approach our run performance in relationship to our selves.

Here is a sneak peak of all the goodness in store….

I would recommend every athlete to have a library of tried and true wisdom and this is definitely one to keep on hand, or shelf!
