You Get Out, Exactly What You You Put In

“Running is just you, the work you put in, and the clock. You can’t cheat yourself. If you don’t put in the miles, you can’t go to the starting line thinking you’re going to pull a miracle out of nowhere. You get out exactly as much as you put in.” -Desiree Davila

No matter what we do in life, it will always hold us accountable for what we do or do not do. There are no short cuts in life and sport. Sure, there is talent, ability, capactiy, but if we do not nurture it, guide it, or develop it will only take you so far. Sacrificing what you are for what you could be, and THEN putting in the work to reach your peak and see what you are really made of.

“Circumstances are not things that happen to you, they are a reflection of who you are.” Keep reaching for your peak!
