Sometimes it nudges at you, other times it screams at you, sometimes it whispers quietly in your ear, other times it goes through you like a jolt of energy…
Sometimes you try to forget it, other times you try avoid it, sometimes you talk yourself out of it, other times you think it is not there and try to move on from it…
But one day you realize that there was a reason that it never went away, one day you realize that you cannot get away, one day you realize that “it” was your Dream, your Calling, your Purpose.
…And that’s how it happened with me. I “officially” got my practice back up and running not too long ago, but it feels a little more “official” with the revamped, and updated, website: Life With No Limits Mental Skills Coaching and Sport Psychology Consulting
A dream realized does not always mean it happens with a BOOM. Often times a dream forms slowly, in the dark, quietly, sometimes chaotically, you grow, you learn, you may even shed some tears, but at the right time you take the jump. You jump because you trust yourself, you jump because you believe, you jump because it feels right, you jump because you have wonderful people in your life that support you. At that point it no longer feels like a risk but instead calling.
I have to be honest, I would have never been able to take that jump without key people in my life, to support me, inspire me, and show me that life is so much more fulfilling when I am fully doing what I love.
I especially have to thank my wonderful husband, Ken Petruzzelli – Opinionated triathlete and lawyer, whom has never given up on me and my dreams. When my dreams were not tugging at me, it was him that was doing the “tugging” and reminding me of my passion.
To my wonderful friend, Marni Sumbal- TriMarni, whom has been a true inspiration, friend, advocate, and motivator of me taking my efforts to the next level. Marni is someone whom I have never met “in person”, but that does not mean that she does not shine from thousands of miles away. Marni is someone that I admire and appreciate having in my life. Make no mistake that when good people come into your life, whom I believe are place on our path by God, no distance or time can take away from that relationship.
I would also like to thank all the amazing athletes I work with, it’s truly a gift to be apart of your growth. Thank you to all my blog readers, Facebook “likers”, and world wide web searchers whom take their time to stop by my pages:) You are the reason all this has purpose. With a grateful heart…Thank You!
Before I close I want to ask…
If not, make a commitment to take steps towards your dream. Honor it in a small way. Nurture it just a little each day. Start by reading about it, research it, visualize it, post on FB about it, write about it, talk about it, and trust that at the right time it WILL come together if you believe in it enough.
Keep reaching for your peak…and shine on my friends!
